Lake Tahoe Getaway

Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Lake Tahoe, NV

“Classic refinement meets casual comfort.”

I found this resort while browsing #laketahoe on Instagram. Edgewood Tahoe Resort is new and they are currently having a mid-summer special (keep reading for the details)! In this post I will review this stunning resort and providing details on the outfits I wore. We spontaneously went on this weekday getaway to continue the celebration of mine and my son’s first birthday! The trip was relaxing and I had such a great time with my little family. This place is so luxurious and beautiful all throughout the property! I was blown away with the spectacular views, amazing food and attentive customer service.

This is the view of the main lobby from the 2nd floor library. I love the attention to detail, the architecture and the ambiance that seamlessly flows throughout the entire property!

We stayed in a luxurious “Mountain View” room. These are the photos of our beautiful room.

My son loved being able to crawl around the spacious room. He loved the views and was amazed by the fireplace in the room.

Here’s me at 36 weeks pregnant in my Fall ready outfit. I am living in comfortable clothing ONLY! I dislike wearing pants at this stage of my pregnancy, but these maternity leggings are soooo comfortable! The nursing top is a MUST for breast feeding mamas on the go (it was under $10 from Amazon! I wish they had more colors! UNFORTUNATELY, they’re completely sold out *sad face*). My favorite blanket scarf was a gift last year. The cardigan and hat were still in stock when I bought them last week. Booties are a must for Fall and can go with almost any outfit.

Black maternity leggings: Target (Isabel Maternity line) // Leopard scarf: similar here // Nursing top: similar here // Studded Floppy Hat: Charming Charlie // Cardigan: Charming Charlie (I don’t see it on the website, but it is in stores right now. Very soft! The color screams Fall.) // Purse: Louis Vuitton

My family of three, soon to be four.

You can find my son’s outfit from BabyGap, you’re in luck they’re on sale, half off!

Camo kanga joggers:BabyGap // Gap logo long sleeve: similar here // Converse shoes: Nordstrom Rack, available in stores right now.

Hallway in main lobby leading to their delicious Coffee Bar! I ordered a Caramel Latte and it was one of the best I’ve had, highly recommended.

Wow, such spectacular views!

Their heated swimming pool and jacuzzi (not pictured). It was about 55 degrees outside and my son enjoyed the pool time comfortably very much! They also have a huge barbecue area and cabanas available.

We went in for dinner around 6pm, hoping we wouldn’t need reservations since it was a Wednesday. We were very disappointed because they said they were all booked. It almost ruined our evening because we were looking forward to eating there based on Yelp. This place is huge with so much seating and they didn’t look that busy. Well, we walked away and shortly after, the host ran after us and said they just got a cancellation call. So, there we were ready and seated right away! 😀

The views were amazing, especially during sunset! We ordered our food and went right out to their patio to watch the sunset and take some photos with our son. They had the fire on out there which made it very cozy. The dinner started with complimentary bread and butter, it was good. The wait was not very long. Their special for the evening included Rib Eye steak, my husband ordered that. He couldn’t stop saying MmmMm and raving about how delicious it was, I tried a bite and I agree! I ordered the Salmon dish for my son and I, it was absolutely flavorful and delicious!

I suggest bringing a stroller with you if you are bringing your small child. The place is huge with plenty of strolling opportunities.

You can purchase this outfit here: BabyGap (it’s on sale now! the material is super soft and comfortable)!

You can purchase this outfit here: Carter’s (wow it’s only $10 now! they’re all out of my son’s 18mos size).

Lastly, here is the discounted rate and special I promised you all that I’d share!
